Clash In The Burg

Clash in the Burg is a new fight series held at various venues in Pennsylvania and is brought to you by Lion Heart Boxing Productions in association with Travel Champ.

The Genesis episode will feature Former World Champion and perennial top ten contender Eddie Chambers (43-5) in his return to in this home state of Pennsylvania after a fifteen-year hiatus.  Born in Pittsburg on March 29, 1982, as Edward Chambers, Fast Eddie Chambers is an accomplished American professional boxer. He has a "fight everywhere and fight everyone attitude." As a result, he was able to fight everyone who was anyone in the course of his career. Chambers has even challenged for a unified world heavyweight title, in 2010 against the top fighter of his generation-Wladimir Klitschko. Chambers was ranked as the fourth best heavyweight in the world by The Ring Magazine in 2009 and he has the honor of being ranked in the Top Ten longer than any other heavyweight in Boxing history.   A defense-oriented fighter, Chambers has been widely recognized for his counterpunching skills and is particularly praised for his quick hand speed and artful footwork. It is for his fast hands and speed that he was christened with the fight name "Fast Eddie." More importantly, Chambers was the first heavyweight in boxing history to possess the ability to competently switch his fighting style between fighting orthodox and Southpaw. Say event promoter Edward Mendy, "Switching stance is an artform that few possess. Given the emphasis on power in the heavyweight ranks, and the limited training today, Eddie probably will remain the only heavyweight that can switch stance ambidextrously."

The first fight fight is being promoted by Lion Heart Boxing Productions in association with Travel Champs and will be held on June 1, 2023, at the beautiful and historic Forum Auditorium in Harrisburg, PA. The main event will feature Chambers while the co-main event will feature the 6'6" Latin Heavyweight sensation Martin Paredes (6-0), both against opponents to be announced. The Undercard will feature Lion Heart Boxing Productions talent such as Ukrainian Heavyweight and Two Time New York Golden Gloves winner Iegor Plevako (7-0) as well as numerous local boxing favorites, including one of the Perez Brothers. 

"This fight is the second in Chambers' comeback and he is training very hard for it," according to his trainer James Bashir. Chambers recently fought in Nashville, Tennessee on February 7, 2023, an easy win by Knockout, and is hoping for another shot at a world title.

Tickets are reasonable priced and start at $30 for General Admission; $50-60 for Reserved seating and $100.00 for Ringside seats. Tickets may be purchased at the venue and at all Ticketmaster locations. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the first fight starts at 7:00 PM.

Ringside (Level 1): $100; Reserved Seating (Level 2):  $60; Seated General Admission (Level 3): $40; and Standing General Admission: $30.
